Tissa Rahim

Tissa Rahim, the Persian Powerhouse, is a musician with a 40-city North American tour under her belt. Winner of "Best RnB/Soul Recording of the Year" at the YYC music awards 2023, Tissa infuses her RnB/Soul sound with traditional Persian music, singing in both English and Farsi with a band or solo. In 2024, Tissa performed at New Skool Rules in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in Mexico and in New York. She has also showcased at Pacific Contact and the Alberta Touring Alliance in Canada and consequently set up tours for late 2024-early 2025. In 2024, Tissa spent a significant time in Los Angeles, writing original music both for herself and other artists and performing an average once a week. Recently, Tissa’s music video Not Once but Twice (ps752) was selected to be screened at the Toronto International Music Video Festival.
